“Music is one of the best vehicles we can use to educate and entertain our children. It is woven into the fabric of our lives and Aunty E and the world of Harmony Hills can’t wait to share their love and knowledge of music with all of you and your children."
As a mother, singer/songwriter, businesswoman, and philanthropist, Erin Duvall is the creator and founder of the children's animated character series, Aunty E of Harmony Hills. Throughout her life, Duvall returned to her passion for music countless times, and to express herself as a creative and a businesswoman, Aunty E was the perfect direction.
The entire process, from characters, music, books, and toys to animation, is Duvall’s brainchild. Songwriting is her first love, and she has been able to take a visual book and express it through a story and lift music from those pages—the perfect union.
Aunty E's exciting animated world started with music producer Billy Henry. Billy has worked with prominent acts like The Chicks, Court Yard Hounds, Fleetwood Mac, and Shakira and co-produced a substantial part of the music to accompany the Aunty E book series for Duvall. Harmony Hills contains more than twenty characters loosely based on Duvall’s life. As a mother, her life lessons led her to create this book series that would educate and entertain not only her four children but all children all over the world.
“Aunty E started when I was just an aunt to many young children. As a musician, I have always wanted to share my love and knowledge of music with my nieces and nephews. It has only continued to grow as I became a mother myself. I have grown up with two very strong examples of family first, hard work, and giving back. So now, as a single mother of four, I feel very strongly about leaving a legacy behind for my children that makes them proud,” says Duvall.
With the passion that burns inside Erin Duvall, she will excel in all aspects of her career, especially in an ever-increasing world of burnouts and flashes that dispense as quickly as the wick is lit.
